To treat you all, here is the To-Do List for the demo. Copy and Pasted straight from the text file! OH BOY EXCITING.

Cookie’s Adventure To-Do List For Demo.

-Redo the head on walk/run animations (Make it move with the animation it is too still at the moment.)

-Make a real background (Parallaxwhatever Hills with Sky.)

-Play with run speed a bit. Seems a bit too fast at the moment.

-Improve tree tiles. Seriously, that top is kinda derpy.

-Actually design a level and see how it plays/works.

-Decide whether or not we’re going to use/need switches or not. (Perhaps some but not all? Hm.)

-Throw in some decoration tiles for the “underground” (Read: stuff like fossils or large rocks in the ground. Just things to break up the pattern.)

-Make sure to fix little graphics glitch with the fall/jump sprite not changing when landing when you land at a percise moment.

-Program in the Worm, Shobot, Drillbird, and Pihop Enemies. They’re the only good looking ones so far anyways.

-NOW make a level. Not a real level, just a test level with all currently programmed elements to test everything and see if you can create a flow with the level that hopefully allows one to complete the level without breaking said flow.

May or may not be completed in said order.

(Once I do all of these, I will release a demo of said level for all of you to try and then tell me what is wrong/right/whatever!)

(Hi everyone sorry for not updating at all! I haven’t really worked on this till just now! I got around to setting up a test room and fixing up some sprites, not that that is visible! The cloud background is actually just temporary and was taken from <3Robot, another game I’m working on!)

Lack of updates.

I (Mr. LL aka the programmer/spriter) apologize for the lack of updates and whatnot! I just have been busy playing other games and actual work and stuff!

I need to start programming this. Game making takes time and motivation, and I’m not feeling terribly confident and motivated right now!

We may have another spriter come onboard though, so progress will surely pick up if that happens! Stay tuned~!

Still working on the Field&#8217;s tileset, but here&#8217;s a test of it! Featuring Cookie, a Shobot, and a previously not-before-seen enemy the Oinker! (Name subject to change.)
The hopping piggy will hop towards you if you approach it. They also have a fondness for scarves.
Strawberries are growing on that bush. Yes, strawberries. 

(Background is temporary and is just the color I work on the sprites on.Need to make a proper one at some point. Maybe the next mock up will have one???)

Oh hey look an update!

Drill Bird. May edit this later so the drill rotates at a faster rate then the wing&#8217;s flap. Which basically consists of splitting the sprite, which isn&#8217;t a big deal. May also make it sway a bit as it flies. Exciting!
Drill Bird attacks by flying normally straight ahead until you&#8217;re under it, then it attempts to dive bomb you. If it misses and hits the ground, it&#8217;ll get stuck in the ground, leaving it vulnerable. It&#8217;ll pull itself out after a few seconds though!
